Disney Character Encounters

Over the years, my boys have made finding Disney characters at Walt Disney World a sort of sport. Of course, it was not always like that. I still remember the first time they met characters at Chef Mickey back in May 2009. That trip we have a lot of photos of the kids keeping their distance from most of the characters they met, until a breakthrough on JSL’s second birthday with Tigger. They have come a long way from screaming, crying, and hiding under tables. Now both of the boys like to see what new characters are at the parks so they can add their autographs into our collection. Some more recent memories of magical moments with characters at Walt Disney World.

December Disney Magic

Last year, TechyDad and I were able to experience the magic that is Walt Disney World in December. While we do not celebrate Christmas, the decorations in the parks, resorts, and Downtown Disney are simply amazing. You are transported into a winter wonderland where it truly can snow in Florida. Here are some of my favorite memories from our visit.

Disney Letter Q

Coming up with Disney Letter Q items left me in quite a quandary. Why you may ask? I knew I wanted Quasimodo from Hunchback and the Queen of Hearts, but thanks to some meetings I was unable to find these photos. So, I thought outside of the box while looking through some magical moments from recent trip to Walt Disney World. What Disney Letter “Q” inspired moments come to your mind?

My Disney Side Through the Years

Disney’s new campaign is focusing on showing your Disney Side. I have to admit that growing up with Disney, it is a natural part of me and my life. Whether I am in the parks or at home, Disney is always there for me. Even during a really bad day, something sparkly from Walt Disney World can make me smile during a rough autism/parenting moment. While my Disney Side is extra magical while I am visiting a Disney Park, it is always there with me. Here is a walk down memory of my #DisneySide as a child, on my honeymoon, and recent vacations with the next generation of Disneyphiles.

Disney Heroes and Villains

The wonderful and magical world of Disney is filled with a variety of characters. Some of them could be easily classified as heroes you would love to call on in an emergency. Then, there are the Disney Villains that you simply love to hate. When traveling to Walt Disney World, you just never know who you may see. Here are some of the Disney style heroes and villains that we have seen on recent trips.
