Happy New Year 2014

New Year 2014 is here and I hope to have a lot to look forward to. While I am off spending time with my family, I can not wait to share more of my #DisneySide in the year ahead. Thinking and living a Disney life helps me to smile, deal with stress, and dream big. Another perk is that Disney is part of our family and so many milestones have happened with it in my life and now my own children. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2014. Be sure to stop and enjoy the magical moments in each day while making memories with your own families in the year ahead.

Joy and Christmas Wishes

Nothing brings me more joy than being at Walt Disney World with my family. It only seems fitting that my Christmas wishes for all that celebrate include photos of the parks from last year when we visited. Wishing all of my friends a wonderful and very Merry Christmas. Enjoy the time making magical memories with those that you love.

Disney Letter R

Once again it is time to celebrate a letter of the alphabet Disney style. There are a lot of possibilities with the letter R, but a few were really easy thanks to the Art of Animation resort where you can see Rafiki, Ramone, and a reef with Marlin and Nemo. The others were from various trips where some special “R” items brought back magical memories. What are some of your favorite Disney Letter R items?

Disney Character Encounters

Over the years, my boys have made finding Disney characters at Walt Disney World a sort of sport. Of course, it was not always like that. I still remember the first time they met characters at Chef Mickey back in May 2009. That trip we have a lot of photos of the kids keeping their distance from most of the characters they met, until a breakthrough on JSL’s second birthday with Tigger. They have come a long way from screaming, crying, and hiding under tables. Now both of the boys like to see what new characters are at the parks so they can add their autographs into our collection. Some more recent memories of magical moments with characters at Walt Disney World.

December Disney Magic

Last year, TechyDad and I were able to experience the magic that is Walt Disney World in December. While we do not celebrate Christmas, the decorations in the parks, resorts, and Downtown Disney are simply amazing. You are transported into a winter wonderland where it truly can snow in Florida. Here are some of my favorite memories from our visit.
