Brothers Gone Goofy

Goofy Brothers

Each time you walk up to a PhotoPass photographer, the experience is different. You never know if they will be serious, silly, or sentimental. As we walked from the front of Epcot back to our resort for the final time, we stopped in the front for some pictures. The photographer did some with JSL and I as we were waiting for TechyDad and NHL to arrive. Then, he kept swapping people out when we were all there. The boys loved how silly he was. When I was editing them for our CD, I thought their pose and the border were simply perfect for each other.

Crocs a Colorado Company with Heart

I am a big fan of buying products from companies that support their community. Our family owns a lot of Crocs. I have sandals, wedges, Mary Janes, and other items. I bought my father a pair with the Dodgers logo and a pair of Yankees ones for TechyDad. I almost always wear one pair or another while visiting Disney World. Recently, we noticed that the boys Mickey Mouse Crocs that we purchased last year were nearly too small. Thanks to this, the kids got fun Crocs.

Lego Crocs

Unfortunately, the ones for JSL were too big. Since we were not close to the outlet to return them, I went online the other night to check out new options. The perfect pair of Toy Story Crocs were available in his size. I ordered them. The following day, I received an e-mail from Crocs that warmed my heart.

Crocs is a company based in Colorado. We all know about the tragedy that happened in the  Aurora, Colorado community. From now until July 31st, Crocs will be donating $5.00 to benefit the Aurora Victim Relief Fund on GivingFirst.org.

So, if you were looking to get new Crocs for the rest of the summer, back to school, or some other occasion – now is the time. I am simply writing this because I wanted to share about company that is reaching out and has in the past across the globe. Now, they are once again helping those within their own state and we can do our part as well.

Smiles in the Summer

Time to be honest. Summer vacation can be a stressful time. I love spending time with my boys, but there are days when the fighting, bickering, and other sibling squabbles get old. Then, moments like this happen out of the blue and for absolutely no reason at all…

Kiss from big brother

There was no prompt. I was just lucky enough to have my phone close by to capture this amazing moment. The boys simply curled up on my bed to stay cool and read. JSL rolled over by NHL. Where something could have happened, it didn’t. Instead, NHL pulled his little brother over for a kiss. A genuine sweet moment between two siblings. There was no screaming, yelling, or complaining. The only things I noticed were smiles like this…

Smiles in the summer

The moments like these make the others fade away a little faster. I will cherish these moments because our 18 summers together are happening way too quickly.

It's Me

Disclosure: All of the photos for this Wordless Wednesday are from our Disney’s PhotoPass+CD that we received as part of the Disney Social Media Mom’s Celebration. Although we paid for our own trip to Disney World to attend the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration, we were given an incredible deal from Disney. Disney never asked us to blog about this event. As a long time Disney fan (who has purchased the PhotoPass multiple times), it is my pleasure to share our fun photos.
