Time to “Leap” into a new design – Giveaway too!

Happy Leap Day All!

After working for quite some time JL, my hubby and handy dandy webmaster, finished my new blog design enough to make it live last night. Did you check it out? Please head on over to look and see what you think. There are still a few little bitty things that I would like different (mainly the header), but it is nice change of scenery. You may have also noticed that I now have BlogHer ads. I wanted to try them to see how it went. I have always admired all of the blogs out there with them and have learned about several from looking around the BlogHer site itself. One of these days I will get to the BlogHer convention (oh please come to the East Coast one of these years).

If you notice any bugs with my new blog layout please let me know. Leave a comment here or e-mail me. The information for that is in the About Moi section.Now onto the giveaway information.

The Giveaway:

A few weeks ago I was contacted by someone to run a giveaway on my blog – so readers check out the details below. I asked if it would be acceptable with them to wait and do it with this launch . . . she agreed. In fact she also increased the goody being given away last night! Here is the information.

Announcements Galore would like one of my readers to win a $30 gift certificate to their website. Name the frog game

Did you know there is a contest right now to name two poor froggies that have no name?

No?!

Then please join in the fun and help my friend (The Squishy Yarn Guru) Laura name her two new pet frogs. If you help her and her son to name the new family members she is going to reward you with a little something special. Remember this is the talented Laura who can knit amazing things, sew gorgeous flannel blankets and do all things crafty. The possibilities from her are endless!

Valentine’s Day Package of goodness

Last week I received an e-mail telling me that I had won a giveaway at Fun & Free Giveaways. The giveaway was for an absolutely adorable Valentine Mailbox full of chocolate made by Beth at her Ebay store called Scrap-A-Teria. Two days ago the package arrived with a fun little bonus included. Here is what it looked like:

I was blown away with the details that Beth put into the mailbox. Thanks to her and Fun & Free Giveaways for the wonderful package. My entire family will enjoy it!

Another round of thanks!

Almost a month ago I posted a large group of thank you’s to people for giveaways that I had won. Since that time two additional items have arrived that I need to send some linky love out. Plus there are fun photos to share.

Way back in early December Mommy Cracked had a contest leading up to Christmas. She had a bunch of different giveaways. I won the one that she had for Baby Kay’s Boutique for a custom made hooded towel. The ones that were on Baby Kay’s Boutique on Etsy at the time were gorgeous. I kept forgetting to let the owner of Baby Kay’s know what I wanted (too many things to select from since she was willing to create anything). Finally we figured things out and it was done. Within a day or two she e-mailed me and said it was being shipping. The towel with an adorable giraffe on it arrived yesterday. Please check out Baby Kay’s Etsy store (she continues to add more to her store) and also Mommy Cracked (hilarious blogger who is currently very under the weather – feel better). NHL loved the towel and wanted to model it for my photo. Thanks again to both involved in the wonderful giveaway!

At the beginning of January I won a giveaway from Angela on Seven Dogs and a Baby. She was hosting a contest to win a Whomi Clarity agenda. It arrived a week or so ago and I just took photos. It really is neat looking for families with lots of appointments, after school activities and things like that. I have to get some time to fill it in and put it in the diaper bag to have on the go. Thanks again Angela for all of your wonderful giveaways!

This morning I found out that I won prize. . . more details to come soon. I am also working on another giveaway of my own with a small business. Just working out the details and will post soon.

1st Blogoversary Giveaway Winner

First I would like to thank Shannon for hosting the amazing winter Bloggy Giveaways Carnival. I was one of almost 900 giveaways carried out over the last week. Second I would like to thank everyone who came over to my blog to enter and leave a comment. It was so much fun seeing the 443 comments that were left on my blog, as well as venturing out to many new places. I know I have a lot of new blogs that I will be going to and adding to my Google Reader.

Now that the craziness is over I also hope to visit all of the wonderful blogs from the people that came to TheAngelForever. I truly hope that many of you that started to come here over the last week will continue to read and comment. I really love comments from people and getting to know more of my readers. So please keep those comments coming. For regular posts I always reply to comments right on the blog post. I just could not keep up with the giveaway with my two kiddos, so please forgive me.
