It seems like summer just started a few days ago. The warm sunny days are already turning into cool crisp nights and chilly mornings in our neck of the woods. This weekend marks the official start of Fall. Pretty fitting since tomorrow at sundown also begins Rosh Hashana, the Jewish New Year. To all of my family and friends, Shana Tova. I wish a sweet and happy new year to each and every one of you. This weekend the boys and I will celebrate by eating apples and honey – YUM!
So my question to you this week is inspired by the change of seasons:
What will you miss most about summer and what are you looking forward to as we head into autumn?

I will not miss the heat and bugs. I am looking forward to cooler weather so I can put on jeans, sweaters and my Ugg boots. Aloha and take care.
Summer is my least favourite season. I guess I will miss being able to stay up late with my guys. I am looking forward to cooler days!

I will miss being able to keep all my windows open all day. It is already getting so cold here, in the mornings and evenings. I can’t believe it!

Since I’m not a big fan of Summer, I’m glad that it’s almost over. I love Fall and I’m most looking forward to giving birth . . . finally!

As the weather gets cooler, I’ll miss being able to spend time outside and go on walks with my baby. He calms down the instant we step outdoors – I hope it rains mostly at night, so I can still take him out during the day! I love fall, though, especially the crisp days and the beautifully misty days where I can curl up with a book and some hot chocolate. (While the baby is napping, right?)

My very first thoughts, before I looked at Kiki’s response, was I will most definitely not miss the heat and I look forward to the cooler weather. The temperature is just about right here in GA and they are expecting a mild winter, so that sounds wonderful.

This summer was a washout, so the only thing I will miss from this year is the ability not to be on schedule. I love September and all of fall!

I already miss all the time I get with the kids during the summer. Also, not having to rush all the time. As soon as school starts it seems like every day we have to rush here or there.

I love the long days in the summer, the warm sun on my skin, fresh fruits and veggies, and the mini vacations to the beach up north.
I always look forward to breaking out my warmer clothes, the fall smells, the fall colors, Thanksgiving with family, and the cider mills and pumpkin patches.
