My question this week is inspired by Labor Day weekend and the unofficial end of summer.
With the summer coming to an end soon, what are you going to miss the most?
I am going to miss being able to take the boys outside and watch them explore and have fun without worrying about coats, hats, boots – you get the picture! This summer I have enjoyed watching my three guys play, laugh, smile and get dirty outside. Whether playing soccer, riding a scooter, playing with chalk, using a toy car or just being silly on the grass we have so many wonderful memories. I know we hope to be able to have many more before the crisp fall air turns to snow and ice.
Love the great collage! I’m going to miss the same thing. We spend so much time inside in the winter that I almost go crazy, and so do the kids! I’m going to try to get them outside as much as possible before we’re forced inside!
My oldest grandson is in the third grade. With summer ending, I’m going to miss him during the day when he’s in school.
I love your pictures!!
I am a teacher…so I am going to miss doing the SAHM thing with my boys every day.
Love the pictures! Our kids went back to school Aug. 18th so our summer has been over almost 2 weeks now. :( I miss not having to have the alarm go off in the morning and I miss being able to just wake up and do whatever – I hate set schedules!
I guess riding bikes and sitting outside
Great summer photos! I guess I’ll miss all the opportunity to go to the beach or pool, not that we went terribly often…
Hotdogs on the grill! Probably would be my daughter’s answer…but mine would be more of the daylight savings time, hat it when it is dark at 4:30pm!
Stop by mine for a preview of my vacation and the question!

I really like your photos!
As winter comes I am sure I will miss the warmth of winter on occasion. However, I really enjoy Autumn and Winter and find that for me personally each season is like a new beginning.
Have a Happy Labor Day!
All the outdoor picnics and barbecues at the park
I’m going to miss having my oldest around every day as he will be starting pre-k (otherwise known as young 5’s) so he will be gone 2 or 3 full days a week. (2 one week, 3 the next)
I think I will miss the sleeping in. During the school year I don’t get to do it at all. Btw, love the pictures.
What fun Summer photos! The last two ones are my favorite.
I’ll miss the long lazy summer days. I love sun, and in the winter, there just doesn’t seem to be enough of it.
I’d also miss sleeping in which isn’t much, but even a half an hour is better than nothing. :)
That’s funny-I was going to ask the same question. The thing I’m going to miss the most is the summer wardrobe. Soon It’ll be back to the power struggle of making the boys wear their winter coats.
Summer is what I miss. I miss June – August being Summer months. A year and a half ago, I married an Aussie and moved to Australia where June – August are Winter months….making Christmas a Summer Holiday! All so different and very fun!
Yeeeaahh. I can’t say I’m going to miss anything! It’s too hot around here! And I’m thrilled that Noah is back in school. lol
I love your mosaic! It looks like the boys have so much fun playing with their daddy.
Re: your comment. I do like taking messy, after eating face photos! We’ve gotten some good ones over the years.
Love your photos! I’m going to miss my little guy having his big brother to play with.
That’s a great collage. How nice to see your kids having a great time outdoors. Summer is really a perfect time to go out and have fun.
Summer is over here. I love going to the beach every summer. It’s what I really miss most. Last weekend, my family decided to go to the beach even though it has been raining for several days already. The great thing about our trip was the wonderful weather. It was a blessing.
super cute pics!
Not much. I’ve never been a Summer gal. Give me the Fall any day!
what cute pictures, i’ll miss the sun!
