Bloggy Giveaway Carnival Time – Summer 2008

Once again it is time for the quarterly bloggy giveaway from BloggGiveaways.com (running from July 28th to August 1st). I had planned on joining in on the last one, but ran out of time with all that was going on. I am all ready to go this time. Welcome to everyone visiting, please take a moment to look around and please come back again. I love meeting new bloggy friends and especially enjoy comments!

 Bloggy Giveaways Quarterly Carnival Button

This time around I am giving away some chocolate goodness that will not melt with the summer heat. Up for grabs for one lucky reader is the following:

Part of my bloggy carnival giveaway

A magnetic note pad with M&M and M&M note cards. In addition to this I am going to make the winner their choice of address labels and I will be knitting up an M&M cloth designed by Enid Danforth that you may view here. Not sure what color the cloth will be, I have to look at my yarn stash. Of course if the winner would like to select a color this may be an option if you are willing to wait a few extra days for the custom cloth. Or, if the winner  would prefer one of my DW cloths that can easily be arranged in many different colors choices.

Some DW cloths I made

I will open up this giveaway to anyone. To enter just leave a comment in the comment section telling me one thing that you love about the summer (this must be included or your entry will not count). Be sure that I have an e-mail address that I can contact you for mailing address after the giveaway is over. I will use random.org to generate a winner from the comments. This giveaway closes at 8:00 pm EST on Friday, August 1st.

Only ONE comment per person, otherwise you will be disqualified.

Bonus perk –>  If over 300 comments come in (there were 442 last time I did the Bloggy Carnival), I will also toss in a Target gift card for at least $5.

Thank you for stopping by TheAngelForever. If you are new here please feel free to bookmark my blog or add me to your feed reader. Best of luck and happy giveaway hunting!

Oh. I have so many favorites from this summer. Most of them involve going to the pool. Watching Bri toddle around and check out the fountains. She loves kicking in the water. We really had a great summer.

    Thanks for the giveaway B!

  • I love so many things about summer… but the best part is my husband is off from work and we get to spend more time together as a family. (He’s a teacher.)

    Oh, and I love chocolate!

Woo hoo! A giveaway! Rock on! I can’t believe that you received 442 comments last time. Holy cow.

I’d like to enter! Let’s see … one thing that I just *love* about summer is summer thunderstorms! The way that the wind blows and creates a light breeze right before a storm … the way that the air smells after the rain … the sound of the rain … just *so* relaxing and wonderful!

  • Awesome Mom says:

That cloth is too cute! If I don’t win I will have to make one myself.

Something I like about summer is gardening. I love being able to work out in my yard.

  • Tanya says:

I have definitely enjoyed taking my little guy to the pool and up to the lake! OH and hitting all the great garage sales!!

  • Shelley says:

When I grew up at the Jersey Shore there was nothing better than the start of Summer. As the quiet & dormant beach towns became alive, you couldn’t help but feel a little more carefree. The days were longer and allowed you to enjoy everything about living at the beach in the summer. The smell of the sea air….the cool ocean breeze in your hair….the softness of the sand on your toes…the faint sound of screams from the carnival rides on the boardwalk….the fireworks that lit up the night sky….and all of the good “boardwalk” food that went along with it. (Because EVERYTHING always tastes better at the shore). To me, summer isn’t a season….it’s a feeling! And even though I now live in Florida, where it is nearly summer year round, when the month of May rolls around, I can’t help but feel a little nostalgic about my Summers at the Jersey Shore.

  • I love M&M’s!! Actually, right now, I’m wearing my M&M pj’s! :D Count me in please…then pick me too!

  • Nikki says:

What I love about summer is going barefoot in the grass and putting my feel in the creek. All the while I hear the giggles of the children. :)

oooh, what I love about summer? Mostly the sunshine and the ability to sit out in the garden as the British weather is not really very good for sitting in the garden with a good book!

  • Go Amie says:

I love lounging on a hammock and reading a good book! The good book part is available year round, but my hammock is pretty chilly most of the year!

  • Beth says:
