Calling all lurkers!!!

Thanks to Angella I now know this week is National De-Lurking Week.  You know that means that people who lurk and read blogs are supposed to leave comments to let others know the are out there.

Come on people show me some comment love.  I thought about doing a comment giveaway like Loralee and Angella, but do not want to copy these fine ladies. Plus, I am still trying to think of something to do for my first giveaway in honor of my Blogoversary (February 4th).

 Photobucket

So jump on into the comment area and say hello. Give me some ideas on things to do with my 4 year old son, tell me how to stop going stir crazy as a SAHM this winter, make some suggestions of things too do to celebrate my Blogoversary and most important let me know that you are out there reading and tell me something about yourself.

I try to make an effort at least once a week to put comments on every blog I read. Sometimes there are ones that just are overloaded with comments, other times they do not warrant a comment or I have nothing to really say, but for the most part I am just too tired and/or lazy that day to do it. I will be sure to be more aggressive at commenting!

Sandra: I think many of us do try. It is just nice to know there are others writing back – even just a hello. Thanks for checking in and being aggressive ;)

I’m here! I’m saying hello! I think your giveaway should be the address labels (like the ones you sent me for swaparooni)! That’s something that we all can do, but I know I’m too lazy to do them myself. I love the Las Vegas ones so much that I don’t want to use them for normal everyday-type mail and save them for “special” mail. I know, I’m weird.

I’m a bad commenter. I read, sometimes a few days behind, but I can never think of anything to say!

I can’t help you with ways to keep NHL occupied – we keep Alex in daycare! Of course that’s because we have to. He goes crazy on the weekends and we’re always trying to come up with ways to keep him occupied. This weekend we have our friends’ holiday party, and Sunday we’re having some friends over to watch football, so he won’t have much down time.

I’m still here! I love reading about you guys and you’re always so good about commenting for me.

I like the address label idea too! I’ve misplaced mine recently so all my TY notes from the holidays have had hand written return addresses.

Is NHL into legos yet? I know my nephew spends hours building and breaking down his sets.

Saying hello here! I’m coming by via An Island Life.

  • TheAngelForever says:

Shawna: Thanks for the hello :) I just may have to toss in some labels for part of whatever I do for the giveaway. When I was out with two of the boys tonight I was looking and thinking about things.

BTW – I think I have the Vegas labels saved on my computer if you ever need more. Just let me know. And you are not weird . . . but that is coming from a weirdo

Nancy: I think most of us are bad at commenting a lot of the time. It is easy to read quickly, but when we are on the rushing at doing something, typing out a reply is an added step. Still it is nice to hear from people, so thank you.

I want to do more arts and crafts with NHL, but it is hard to do when the baby is up. I can not wrangle both of them to do something of that nature. *sigh* Enjoy your holiday party and busy weekend.

citystreams: Thanks, I try to comment when I can. I am definitely getting used to using Google Reader so I can be more efficient at reading and then jumping to posts to comment on them.

Let me know if you want me to check for the labels I made you. I just may have them saved on my computer. If not I can probably make them up again.

NHL likes Legos to an extent (we have the quatro and duplo ones for him . . . and others from my cousins waiting for him). Lately, when he gets home from school, he wants to plop on the couch and be a vegetable in front of the television watching Noggin. I think he is tired and really needs to nap, but he refuses. I do not have the energy to fight him and get the baby to rest. We have started to limit television time. I just need to suck it up and start doing more arts and crafts – which I would love to do. Thanks for the suggestion.

Courtney: Welcome to my blog and thank you for the hello. I hope you come back again :)

Hi! I know De-Lurking Week is over but I am just now catching up on my blog-reading rounds… your boys are so sweet! They remind me of my two (I have two girls also…) when they were littler (they’re still fairly little LOL, 6 and 3 1/2). Hope you are surviving the winter OK – I am in New England so we get ours mostly around February or so, just when you are dying for it to be over… husband is from western NY so we know aaaallll about New York winters…

  • TheAngelForever says:

Heather: Thanks for commenting no matter what. I love to hear from people :)

Ugh, I wish winter was over already. Sadly, I know we have not even begun to see the “fun” that this season has in store for us.

Stay warm and see you around.
